Work

I have been mainly teaching adults English for nearly 2 years. I teach all levels, from beginners to advanced, both in the classroom and one-to-one online.

I really love my job as an English teacher because I love to meet people from all around the world. I really enjoy talking with people and helping them to improve their English. You will find that I’m a very cheerful, patient and kind teacher and I want you to feel comfortable with me so you can practice without worrying about making mistakes.

As a non-native English teacher, I’ve been in student’s shoes for many years so I understand what it’s like to learn and speak a different language – especially English. I know how to improve your pronunciation. I also have deep knowledge of grammar which I enjoy explaining it in a way that you can understand it without any problems.
I can also help you to expand your vocabulary if you are looking for new ways to express yourself. In case you need a help with Technical vocabulary - I can help you as well - I’ve got master’s degree in engineering and I’ve worked many years as an engineer in a British company.

I know that a process of learning a language is different for everybody. However, one thing that is essential when learning a language is that it is interesting for you. That’s why I aim to structure my lessons around your specific interests. Whatever your English language objectives and interests are – I’m always willing to work with you – no matter what you want to improve – reading, writing, speaking or listening. I will structure my lessons to you and you can always contact me if you are unsure.

About Me

My name is Martin and I’m from the Czech Republic but for the past two years I've been living in South America.
I've got master's degree in engineering and I’ve worked for many years in a British engineering company which allowed me to live and work in Bristol in England.
After several years of working as an engineer I decided to become an English teacher and live in a different country. Therefore, in 2018 I successfully completed 4 weeks on site TEFL program in Prague and I left for Argentina. In Argentina, I spent one year teaching classroom English in companies in Buenos Aires. Since 2020 I have been teaching English on-line and traveling South America.
I’m very cheerful and easy-going person with a good sense of humour. I am passionate about teaching and learning languages, traveling, science, sport, art and cooking.
